Our 1st mental health capsule in partnership with the American Foundation for Suicide Prevention
May is Mental Health Awareness Month and a month to put front and center the amazing work that the AFSP does to provide much needed awareness and support to those in need. We decided it was then time to use our platform to provide further visibility on a cause that’s now as relevant as ever. As the American Foundation for Suicide Prevention states “no one’s mental health is fully supported until everyone’s mental health is fully supported.”
In February we announced and launched our partnership with the foundation and kicked off our year-long fundraising effort together with our brand ambassadors team: Team Innerforce. That’s why this year we decided to spread the message Innerforce-style: we designed a t-shirt capsule together with the foundation to raise awareness across our community and beyond. A chance to wear something that matters while supporting the foundation: 20% off the sales will go straight back to the foundation.
As we always say, there are different ways to help others as much as people on this planet. This is our way to do our bit that might mean the world to others. We all have the power to make enormous changes when committed, and significant changes start from within.
Social impact means caring about what’s happening around you: does someone need help? Is your friend in need of something? What can you contribute to your community?
You may or may not need a new t-shirt but it might be a good reminder to check-in with ourselves and others and make room for mental health in your workout.
Mental health matters.
